The discussion moved forward, after gracing the stage at the Grammy Awards in a... not so motherly outfit, while bringing the passion that some like to save for the bedroom onto the stage in a performance of Drunk in Love with husband, Jay Z. Once more, she was criticized and husband, Jay Z was called a "poor excuse for a husband" for objectifying her, sources tell us.
We teach girls to shrink themselves, to make themselves smaller
We say to girls: "You can have ambition, but not too much
You should aim to be successful, but not too successful
Otherwise, you will threaten the man"
Because I am female, I am expected to aspire to marriage
I am expected to make my life choices always keeping in mind that marriage is most important
Now, marriage can be a source of joy and love and mutual support
But why do we teach girls to aspire to marriage and we don't teach boys the same?
We raise girls to see each other as competitors
Not for jobs or for accomplishments, which I think can be a good thing
But for the attention of men
We teach girls that they cannot be sexual beings in the way that boys are
Feminist: a person who believes in the social
Political, and economic equality of the sexes
Despite what few think, I believe Beyonce looks great. She has always had that sex appeal that she doesn't want to loose. Just because you're a mother means you have to dress or act a certain way? Well excuse me for my opinion, because that is foolishness. She is an Entertainer, what do entertainers do... exactly.
As far as her husband "objectifying" her, that is definitely the wrong choice of a word. Jay Z understands this business and they both have been in the business long enough to know what to do, and what not to do. Now that Bey is a mother nothing has changed, she and Jay just have a young one to care for now. For those who have such strong opinions on what Bey is doing with her time she has a little something to say to all of those wonderful people on her tumblr. She doesn't really have time for the negative comments or people.
